The Tyne Valley Youth band is open to participants from middle school up to the end of high school, with all instrumentalists welcome. The band play an eclectic range of music including funk, soul, jazz and latin music. Their current repertoire includes music from Stevie Wonder, Jon Batiste, and Cannonball Adderley.
The group encourages improvisation, sectional playing, and termly performance opportunities. This is a great opportunity to play with others in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Sessions are aimed at musicians aged from Y5 - Y13
